absolutely not. the humans sound more like robots than the robots. the pauses and pacing are sluggish. the technology is more goofy than it is scary. oh, and it looks like TV more than cinema. the ideas here are interesting and the post-surgery sex scene did make me cry because it beautifully mirrors what it’s like to fuck someone chronically ill sometimes. but that’s about all i liked about it.
