how this site is made.
the pieces
astro 7 renders the pages from markdown and Sanity content. small browser scripts handle search and filtering. the code uses typescript.
the layout uses plain css and dotted dividers. Recursive sets the headings and name; proportional Operator sets the body. Candy Apple Red accents warm paper in light mode, and Endangered accents pure black in dark mode. body links use a lighter mix of Endangered.
publishing
the plan follows posse: publish here first, then share copies elsewhere.
the editor saves drafts in Sanity. previews are private; publishing makes the saved revision available here. social accounts aren’t connected yet.
Vercel hosts this development site at mbbischoff.dev. search indexing is blocked. the existing site stays at mbbischoff.com until migration and review are complete.
